China to begin talent corridor scheme under CPEC

In order to bridge the demand and supply gap, the CPEC Cultural Communications Centre plans to offer technical and vocational training to Pakistani students on a scholarship basis. This will help ensure that Pakistanis become skilled in different sectors of the industry, which will help them reap the true benefits of the CPEC project. This training is what is known as the Talent Corridor Scheme.nnIslamabad: The China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Cultural Communication Centre will offer scholarships to 1,000 Pakistani students for one-year vocational training in Chinese institutes.nnThe training will begin in November this year under the Talent Corridor Scheme. Director General of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Cultural Communication Centre Echo Lee told reporters that the Pakistani students would be provided free tuition and dormitory during the training at different universities and institutes in China.
