Gwadar & Cpec – A Brief History

CPEC is a part of The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) of China.nnThe BRI is an attempt to revive the ancient Silk Road. This road was used from the 2^nd century BCE to the 18^th century BCE. It was the central connecting route between the East and the West.nnnnIn light of BRI, China has invested in many countries including Pakistan. This initial cost of CPEC was estimated to be $46 billion. However, it is $87 billion as for the year 2020.
